Why people choose attar over spray perfume
Attar is pure perfume oil, so a little goes a long way: one or two dabs on the wrists, neck or behind the ears is enough for the day. Because it has no alcohol it sits close to the skin, wears softly and usually lasts longer than a spray of the same scent.
Many of our customers wear attar for prayer and for Ramadan and Eid because it is alcohol-free. Others simply prefer an oil that does not dry the skin and is easy to carry in a pocket.

How to choose your attar
Oud attars are deep, smoky and woody, the classic choice for weddings, evenings and winter. Musk attars are soft and clean, ideal for every day and for the office. Floral attars such as rose, jasmine (mogra) and kewda are fresh and traditional. Sandal (chandan) attars are warm, creamy and calm.
If you are new to attar, start with a 3 ml bottle of two or three scents you like the sound of, then move to 12 ml once you find your favourite. Each product page lists the top, heart and base notes so you know what to expect.
Hyderabad's attar house since 1986
Ayyub Ali Fragrances began as a single counter on Yakutpura Station Road and has grown into a family business with shops across Hyderabad and wholesale customers across India. We blend and bottle our attars ourselves, which is why we can offer so many scents at honest prices.
You can order online for delivery anywhere in India, or come and try them at our shops in Hyderabad: Yakutpura, Purani Haveli, Mehdipatnam and Charminar.
